SUPPORTING SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS

Chandler stepped on to a snowboard at the age of eight; at Pats Peak. In that opportunity, a passion an a future career was born. Chandler's successes in his all too short life were remarkable given the odds he faced. He survived a recurrent brain tumor, and attained academic and career goals considered unlikely.  His effort, his drive to do well and willingness to work hard, coupled with the support of people who believed in him, contributed to his success.  Joe Valley shares, "Chandler developed his own voice and ways of communicating fundamental ideas, whether it was to a student or a group of instructors. He brought a fun-loving smile and glowing personality everywhere  he went. His pursuit for his own education and his love for teaching others has had a profound effect on me and others around him."
